Ron Miller has a long
and varied career of volunteering in the
community. He is a founding member of
the Friends of 7 and served two terms as
the President of the Board. He has been
given the status of Trustee Emeritus. He
is a Trustee Emeritus of the Spokane
Public Library Board of Directors. Ron
is a founding member of KPBX, the public
radio station for the Spokane area. He
has also served on the boards of the
YMCA, the Spokane Symphony, the Museum
of Arts and Culture, the Boy Scouts, and
the Junior Achievement. While on the Red
Cross Board, he was the recipient of the
"Vision of Excellence" award.
Ron’s degrees are from University of
Washington and Whitworth College. He
taught in a variety of schools prior to
his retirement.
