Friends of KSPS Board Member
Marvin "Marvo" Reguindin
Marvo is the president and creative director of Thinking Cap Communications and Design, an award winning advertising agency he started in 1999. In addition to Thinking Cap, Marvo is an adjunct instructor at Gonzaga University teaching graphic design in the school of business.
He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with an emphasis in Advertising from California State University, Fullerton. His advertising career as an art director/designer started in Los Angeles and brought him to the inland northwest where he worked for advertising agencies in Missoula, Coeur d’Alene, and Spokane.
He and his life partner Paul are active in Spokane’s gay community. Both are board members of the Inland Northwest Business Alliance, Spokane’s gay business chamber, and have represented Spokane at national gay business conferences. Marvo has sat on the board of the Downtown Spokane Partnership and Paul is the president of the Spokane AIDS Network.
A first generation Filipino-American, he was born in Seattle and grew up in Chula Vista, a suburb of San Diego, CA. He enjoys the theatre and symphony, trying new restaurants, cooking, collecting art, snow skiing and taking long walks with their dog Rufus.
