May 22 – Traveler’s Health

This time of year, many people prepare to take time off from work and the daily routine for long-awaited vacations; and often this means travel to other countries. But when illness strikes during a journey to another land, a dream vacation can turn into a nightmare for the unprepared traveler. On the next Health Matters, TELEVISION FOR LIFE, host Steve Becker and a panel of experts will discuss the pros and cons of traveling abroad when it comes to safeguarding one’s health. Tune in Thursday, May 22 at 7pm/8mtn, when KSPS brings you “Traveler’s Health.”

June 7 & 8 – Curious George and Gordon at Calaway Park

Speaking of vacations, visitors to Calgary’s largest family amusement park will be treated to a special appearance by everyone’s favorite little monkey, Curious George, and ‘Gordon’ from Sesame Street. On June 7 and 8, KSPS joins Calaway Park in hosting the Storybook Fun Show, featuring Curious George and Gordon. There will be three shows each day with free prizes, sing-alongs and a story time about one of George’s adventures, followed by a meet-and-greet afterwards. The show is included in the price of admission. For more information visit www.calawaypark.com
