Spokane TV and radio personality Teresa Lukens will be guiding the conversation when KSPS-TV’s Health Matters program returns for a 10th season September 27, at 7pm.
Lukens has been on the air in Spokane for more than two decades. She became a familiar face to Inland Northwest viewers as a morning news reporter and anchor at KXLY, but she also produced and hosted numerous special programs like 4-Your Health, ExplorerTV, and KXLY’s Bloomsday coverage. In addition to her TV experience, Teresa also co-hosted two successful morning radio shows alongside her husband Rick Lukens.
The September 27 Health Matters topic is Alzheimer’s. Viewers have the opportunity to question physicians and health care experts about the disease, which is the 6th leading cause of death in the U.S.
Panelists will include Neurologist Jon Ween, M.D. of the Rockwood Clinic, Oscar Haupt, M.S.W. from Providence Adult Day Health, Leonard Vanderosch, M.D. of Columbia Medical Associates, and WSU Professor of Psychology Dr. Maureen Schmitter-Edgecombe, Ph.D.
