Inequality for All
Also this week, Moyers & Company brings the spotlight to the fifth anniversary of the fiscal meltdown that almost tanked the world economy and the second anniversary of Occupy Wall Street.
Although it may seem unbelievable, during the first three years of economic recovery, 95 percent of the economic gains have gone to only the top one percent of Americans.
Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 10p.m. on KSPS, Robert Reich, Bill Clinton's Secretary of Labor, joins Moyers to discuss a new film, "Inequality for All."
Reich, now a University of California professor and author of thirteen books, stars in the film which has been called dynamic, witty and entertaining. Producers hope the film will be a game-changer and spark a national discussion of income inequality.
"Inequality for All" opens across the country the week following this broadcast.
