KSPS Unveils 24-hour Spanish-language Television Channel
KSPS is now providing a 24-hour Spanish-language television channel , KSPS Vme TV, on Comcast Xfinity channel 19. Vme TV (pronounced vay-may), is the first and only Spanish channel created in association with US Public Television stations. The 24-hour digital broadcast service is dedicated to entertain, educate and inspire families in Spanish with a mix of original productions and popular public television programs specially adapted for Hispanics. KSPS General Manager Gary Stokes, said, “KSPS is pleased to offer the Vme TV service to fill an unmet need for quality Spanish-language educational television in our region.”
KSPS Vme TV is not yet available on other local cable or satellite services. Viewers are encouraged to contact their providers to request these services.
