Windstorm Affects Flathead Valley Signal

Posted by Doug Minor on

Last month's big windstorm, while not entirely taking KSPS off the air, has affected the quality of the signal. The storm was powerful enough to knock the microwave that serves the Flathead Valley in Montana out of alignment. Until the winter conditions clear enough for crews to work on two mountaintops, a temporary, alternate feed has been established to serve the area. What does that mean to you? Well, for the foreseeable future, it means that you will only be able to receive KSPS in Standard Definition (SD). The High Definition TV (HDTV) signal will be restored as soon as we are able. Thank you for your patience and continued support.
