Planned Translator Outages Announced for Wenatchee/Leavenworth and Quincy/Moses Lake Areas

Posted by Doug Minor on

Due to FCC-mandated channel vacating and/or reassignment, KSPS translators in the Wenatchee/Leavenworth and Quincy/Moses Lake areas will no longer be accessible on their customary channels. The details of these moves/outages are below:

Wenatchee/Leavenworth:
KSPS HD is no longer available over the air on Ch. 49. For the time being, a Standard Definition (SD) KSPS signal is available on Ch. 17. KSPS will remain on Ch. 17 when the High Definition (KSPS HD) signal is restored. Viewers will need to perform a rescan. We will make every effort to keep you up-to-date on progress and notify you when the HD signal is available again.

Quincy/Moses Lake:
KSPS HD is no longer available over the air on Ch. 50. There is no alternate signal or channel at this time; but we are actively working to rectify the outage, with the ultimate goal of having KSPS HD operating on a different channel by the end of November — weather permitting. When KSPS HD returns, it will NOT be on Ch. 50, so viewers will need to perform a rescan to receive it. Once again, we will make every effort to keep you up-to-date on progress and notify you when KSPS HD is available again.
