The Glenrose Community will sponsor a Summer Market event to kick off the opening of a new local farmer's market. Tuesday, August 21 2012 between 4-7pm in Spokane, WA. The event takes place at a Little Yellow Schoolhouse in the middle of an old farming neighborhood, once a shangri-la of small farms and orchards, a stone's throw from downtown Spokane.

Local growers, artisans and musicians will share their locally grown vegetables, fruit, crafts, photography, glass art, herbs and medicinals. Also local musicians Mike Croon and Koyosulo, Veraci Pizza, The Scoop Ice Cream, Bouzies Bakery, and an old-fashioned Glenrose horse and buggy ride will be on site.
