The mules are coming to town so stop by Reardan, WA for the Reardan Mule Days. Festivities will kick off with a 5 K fund run at 8:00am. The annual parade at 10:15am followed by a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, kids carnival, pony rides, craft fair, square dancing and plenty of food on "ChuckWagon Row". Summer Pottery Classes at Spokane Potters' Guild begin June 11th, 2012. Classes include wheel throwing and hand building techniques. The class fee includes two additional hours of open studio time each week of the session. A lab fee of $15 covers the first 25 lb. bag of clay, glazes and firing costs. Just + Hope North, a 3,300-mile charity bike ride, will be arriving in Spokane, WA on June 13, 2012 The ride is raising funds and awareness for the Just + Hope Campaign which addresses oppression and injustice such as human trafficking and child soldiering in Southeast Asia. Read More
