Train Rides from Ione to Metaline Falls

The North Pend Oreille Valley Lions Club operates the Excursion Train Rides that are set to start for the season on July 28th, 2012. The train travels over trestles and through tunnels, crossing the Pend Oreille River at scenic Box Canyon. Trains encounter a train robbery and beatiful scenic views. Rides duration 90 minutes going 10 miles each way. The train has 3 historic coach cars, three open-air cars and a caboose. Read More
