Maestro Eckart Preu conducts the Spokane Symphony in a dazzling program designed to display the virtuosic brilliance of the music of three composers, not to mention the Spokane Symphony’s very own concertmaster Mateusz Wolski, who will be the soloist for Korngold’s magical Violin Concerto. The concert includes Bloch’s Three Jewish Poems and Stravinsky’s unforgettable Petrushka.
Two performances will be held at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. and again on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 3 p.m.
A pre-concert talk about the music will be held in the hall one hour before each performance. Ticket prices start at $14. As a Valentine Speical, concertgoers may purchase in advance a rose and small box of Bloem's chocolates for $10.
