Technical Help from KSPS

Attention Over-The-Air Antenna Viewers in the Spokane Area:

KSPS has improved the signal we broadcast over the airwaves. You may need to re-scan or auto-tune your digital TV or your converter box so that you may receive it.

The new signal is now more powerful to reach more viewers and to provide a more reliable picture to current viewers. This signal uses a different frequency than we used before, which is why you may need to re-scan your converter box or digital TV to be able to receive it.

KSPS had been broadcasting this new signal along with the previously-used signal since November. Many viewers were getting both signals. As of February 1, 2010, only the newer, more powerful signal is available.

This will not affect cable, satellite or translator viewing.
