Am I Crazy…or What?
Studies have shown that mental illness is the second
leading form of disease in the developed world. However,
nearly two thirds of all people with diagnosable mental
disorders do not seek treatment.*
Uncertainty over
mental health can be the source of much confusion
—
and, for some people, outright shame. But the key to
mental wellness is an understanding of the difference
between behaviors that can be modified (such as
addictions) and other, deeper-seated mental disorders --
and the assistance available to overcome them.
Join KSPS for our next Health Matters, Television for
Life when a panel of experts will take your questions
about overcoming negative behaviors like drug or alcohol
addiction, as well as the more serious aspects of mental
health.
