Patty Starkey Retires

After 35 years of extraordinary service as Executive Director of Friends of KSPS (Seven), Patty Starkey has retired.

Patty guided our organization with incomparable vision for over 35 years, growing it from a handful of supporters in the 1970s to well over 30,000 members in the US and Canada today. She has been a legend in Public TV circles, a friend to thousands of KSPS viewers and a passionate advocate for quality television for all. You have seen her on the air and enjoyed the fruits of her labor each time you watch KSPS.

Honor Patty's Legacy Through the Patty Starkey Programming Fund

In her honor we have established the Patty Starkey Programming Fund, and we invite you to be a part of it.

 Give Patty Fund Button2

The purpose of the fund is to provide dollars for programs that are not already available through our current operating budget. This will be an annual effort so that “Patty’s Fund” will continue to help bring needed programs to KSPS for everyone to enjoy. Please honor Patty’s legacy by giving to the Patty Starkey Programming Fund.

If you have any questions, email us at ksps@ksps.org or call the Membership Staff at 800-735-2377.
