This year we held our Volunteer of the Year Appreciation luncheon on April 25th, 2012 where Marilyn Jones was named our volunteer of the year. Marilyn learned the importance of volunteering from her mother who served on the Friends of KSPS board back in 1997.

Marilyn contributes a lot of her time, so much so, she accrued 500 hours that was matched by her employer with a $500 match. Marilyn will do any task asked of her including data entry and instructing telephone volunteers. She has a cheery and bright personality that makes everyone enjoy their time when working with her. Thank you Marilyn for all you do!
