Mary Rush was named our Volunteer of the Year at the 2013 Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon.
Mary is always willing to contribute her time and help in any way she can. She first started volunteering in 2010 when she came with a group from Spokanimal to volunteer to answer phones during our membership campaign, and she’s been helping out ever since! Mary wears many hats, doing everything from data entry to packing to membership maintenance. She’s now also a studio captain and trains telephone volunteers. Mary strives to do each job perfectly. She asks questions so she can improve and understand more. Not only is Mary a wonderful volunteer, she is a contributing member to the Friends of KSPS. She believes that volunteering is a way to spread the word about KSPS and its positive programming. When she’s not at KSPS, Mary also enjoys traveling and volunteering with other organizations, including Free Rein. Thank you, Mary, for all you do!
