Meet the Host
Dana Haynes brings more than 20 years of journalism experience to her role at KSPS, having worked as a reporter and anchor for KHQ in Spokane, and earlier in her career at KIVI in Boise, Idaho.
A Seattle-area native and graduate of Washington State University, Dana spent five years in Boise before moving to Spokane nearly 30 years ago. Throughout her career, she has covered some of the region's most significant news stories, earning a strong reputation for trusted, reliable reporting and anchoring.
After her time at KHQ, Dana transitioned into public relations, first serving as communications director for Visit Spokane. For more than a decade, she has managed media relations for Spokane Sports, continuing her passion for storytelling and community engagement.
Now, as the host of At Issue, Dana is excited to dig deeper into the topics that matter most to the region she proudly calls home.
