Fitness As You Age

More older adults are actively involved in fitness in ways you wouldn’t expect. Whether it’s Pickleball or 5K runs, Yoga class or Hoopfest, age doesn’t have to stop you from being active. Coaches and trainers will show you how to get started and how to avoid injury, and you’ll meet some inspiring athletes too.

Health Matters has returned, with a new host but the same dedication to providing insightful and informative content on various aspects of health and wellness.

Host Aaron Luna leads the discussion with healthcare professionals, specialists, and experts who share their knowledge on critical health issues. A former news anchor and reporter, Aaron brings his journalism talent and interviewing skills to a program celebrating its 20th season.

Filling the shoes of retired producer Teresa Lukens is Camille Troxel, who builds the show content with panelists and produces a video vignette for each program featuring additional expert voices or inspiring stories of individuals who have overcome health challenges.

With this new talented team "Health Matters" aims to continue as a reliable source of information, fostering a better understanding of health issues and encouraging proactive measures for a healthier lifestyle.

Viewers are encouraged to call, text or email their questions in advance for the panel. Send your questions to healthmatters@ksps.org
